Strip-built in the style of the famed Mackinaw Watercraft canoes and kayaks. These unique and heirloom quality picnic hampers were inspire by the wannigans in which canoe traveler store and transport their supplies on long trips.
Details
13" High X 12" Wide X 16" long. These strip-built baskets are clad with 6 oz. fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. The sides and lid are made from Oak veneered plywood. Laminated bent hard wood handles and brass hinges attest to the long lasting quality with which these baskets are made. The interior is sealed with epoxy and is set up with hook and loop lashing to support plates and a couple of bottles of your favorite vino.
