Details
The One Tree is a Looking Glass model solo kayak designed by Allen Deming. The hull is mostly Northern White Cedar. The deck is repurposed California Redwood with an inlayed Birch tree motif and a Red Oak compass rose on the hatch cover. The combing lip sports an original poem “The River” which was written for this boat. The “One Tree” was a featured favorite at Grand Rapids ArtPrize in 2014. She is built to paddle but pretty enough to display.
