Selected for the prestigious Grand Rapids ArtPrize competition the Lighthouse is a 12' Pere Marquette solo canoe. She is 28" in the beam and weights just 32 pounds. Her sides and fore deck sport inlaid veneer replicas of 13 different lighthouses that stand guard on the shores of Lake Michigan.
